If you are looking to add an incredible action thriller to your library of PC games, Judgment is an absolute must-play. Created by RGG Studio, the brilliant team behind the Yakuza series, this spin-off swaps the usual organized crime protagonist for a gritty, down-on-his-luck detective. It perfectly captures the neon-lit streets of Tokyo's Kamurocho district while delivering a dark, mysterious vibe. Whether you are a hardcore fan of brawlers or just looking for a gripping legal drama to play on your desktop, this title will easily keep you glued to your screen.
Storyline
The story puts you in the worn-out shoes of Takayuki Yagami, a brilliant defense attorney whose career collapsed after a client he defended actually committed a horrific murder right after being acquitted. Three years later, Yagami is scraping by as a private investigator in Kamurocho. Things get wild when a terrifying serial killer starts taking out yakuza members and removing their eyes. Yagami dives into the investigation, and what starts as a simple murder case quickly spirals into a massive web of corruption and dark secrets. The narrative is cinematic, sharp, and genuinely keeps you guessing until the very end.
Gaming experience
Playing Judgment is a total blast because it mixes bone-crunching action with actual detective work. The gaming experience lets you seamlessly switch between two martial arts fighting styles—Crane for taking out crowds and Tiger for heavy one-on-one brawls—making combat feel incredibly fluid. Since you are a private eye, you also spend time tailing suspects, picking locks, flying drones, and scouring crime scenes for hidden clues. It brings a fresh, interactive layer to the classic beat-'em-up formula, helping it stand out among other action-heavy PC games. Plus, taking a break from the main case to hit up the local SEGA arcades or solve quirky side cases just makes it even better!
