Storyline
The plot doesn't try to be overly dramatic or complicated, which is exactly what you want from a retro mascot platformer. It is Pac-Man's birthday, and he is coming home to celebrate, only to find out that a bunch of pesky ghosts have crashed the party and kidnapped his entire family! To make matters worse, they have dragged them off to the creepy and dangerous Ghost Island. Now, it is totally up to you to brave six unique areas, rescue your loved ones, and finally face off against the giant, robotic evil boss known as TOC-MAN. It is a wonderfully silly and lighthearted adventure that sets up the action perfectly.
Gaming experience
When it comes down to the actual gameplay, it is an incredibly satisfying mix of classic arcade mechanics and solid 3D platforming. You will spend your time butt-bouncing enemies, revving up your dash to blast up ramps, and chomping down on tons of power pellets to turn the tables on the ghosts.
