If you have ever wanted to just completely wreck a building, Teardown is going to be your new obsession. It is a fully destructible voxel-based heist game where you literally smash, blast, and ram your way to success. When you are looking through your backlog of PC games for something to help you blow off some steam, this sandbox of destruction absolutely hits the spot. Forget rigid boundaries; every single wall, window, and vehicle in this game can be reduced to rubble with a sledgehammer, a blowtorch, or some well-placed pipe bombs.

Storyline

The setup is wonderfully simple but gives you a perfect excuse to break things. You run a struggling teardown company and end up getting dragged into a shady underground world of corporate sabotage just to pay the bills. You start taking sketchy jobs from rival billionaires and highly questionable clients. One day you are stealing luxury cars from a heavily guarded mansion, and the next you are dragging a massive safe into the ocean with a boat. It is a lighthearted narrative that perfectly justifies why you need to drive a bulldozer through a pristine modern art museum.

Gaming Experience

Playing this game is actually a massive, chaotic puzzle. It is not about mindless destruction; it is about carving out the ultimate escape route before the security alarms go off. You get unlimited time to prep your path by knocking down walls for shortcuts, placing planks, and lining up getaway vehicles. But the second you grab your first target, a frantic 60-second timer starts, and you have to sprint through the exact mess you just created. The voxel physics are so satisfying that even when your perfectly planned heist completely fails, watching a whole brick tower collapse in real-time is an absolute thrill.
