Storyline
The plot takes you back to the year 1946, right before the events of The New Order, when the enemy forces are on the brink of winning the war. You step back into the heavy combat boots of the legendary B.J. Blazkowicz on a desperate, top-secret mission to infiltrate the massive, intimidating Castle Wolfenstein. Your primary goal is to steal the coordinates to a key enemy compound, but things go sideways pretty fast. You end up fighting not just heavily armored super-soldiers and giant mechanical hounds, but also dealing with some seriously creepy, ancient dark magic that eventually unleashes hordes of undead horrors.
Gaming experience.
Jumping into the action feels incredibly tight and super satisfying, exactly what you expect from top-tier PC games in the first-person shooter genre. You are given the freedom to play how you want—you can sneak through the shadows to silently take down commanders before they trigger alarms, or you can just kick the door down and go in guns blazing by dual-wielding massive assault rifles. A great new addition is a trusty metal pipe, which gives you a brutal way to scale walls and execute stealth takedowns. It is a fast, punchy, and wildly entertaining loop that gives you pure, unapologetic shooter fun from start to finish.
